About the Role

As a process technician in our surface treatment, you are an important part of our production process within surface treatment. You are responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and developing our paint and surface treatment processes to ensure high quality in our products. The role involves close collaboration with production, technology, and quality, where you contribute your expertise to solve technical challenges and drive improvements.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize paint and surface treatment processes to ensure good quality

  • Participate in improvement and development projects related to paint, surface treatment, and automation solutions, both internally and with external partners.

  • Document and report process data and follow up on quality outcomes

  • Perform troubleshooting and manage quality deviations related to materials, machines, or processes

  • Contribute to knowledge transfer and support operators in their daily work.

The workplace is Nobia Park in Jönköping, and the position reports to the Area Production Manager for surface treatment.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and has a strong drive to develop and contribute to improvements. You are communicative, have good collaboration skills, and a strong drive to solve problems.

Perhaps you are a skilled process operator who has received further training in surface treatment or paint, or an experienced process technician who has worked with paint technology or surface treatment. Requirements for the position include fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You have the ability to:

  • Link quality deviations to materials, machines, or processes and suggest necessary adjustments.

  • Understand the interplay between machines, processes, and automation.

  • Experience in process technology work within industrial production.

  • Basic understanding of automation and integration between machines and technology.

We particularly appreciate if you have:

  • Experience working with various surface treatment techniques and materials. Wood/furniture industry experience is a plus.

  • Experience driving improvement projects within paint and surface treatment, preferably in collaboration with suppliers.

  • Ability to link paint properties to process adjustments and quality outcomes.

  • Knowledge to connect paint properties with the surface treatment process and identify what adjustments are needed to achieve the desired results.
